There’s been a short hiatus in posts since I was away on holiday and it completely disrupted my flow for two weeks (in a very welcome way — highly recommend if you haven’t taken one already this summer!) — BUT I am BACK, and I have some hugely exciting things to share with you! 🚀

We often fall into the trap of thinking that summer is the worst time to focus on our careers because everybody is on holiday, which means nobody is around to make any decisions.
But actually it’s the perfect time to think strategically, lay some foundations and be ready to move come those Autumn / Winter performance reviews.
So here are three ways you can work with me this summer to get ahead in your product leadership career.
1. Join my AI Study Group* (free)
Three things convened for me just before holiday that led me to the idea of setting this up:
I went to London Tech Week where everybody was talking about AI - including Sir Kier Starmer and Jensen Huang of NVIDIA, who were the opening keynote address. Did you know £187.5M has been promised by the UK government to fund the AI infrastructure build?
At the Cambridge Product Managers Network we heard from Paul Jervis Heath about the concept of ‘future shock’ - that feeling that things are changing too quickly and you’re getting left behind. Speaking to product leaders recently, this is an all too real experience when it comes to the impact of AI.
A few conversations with women revealed how some are scared of becoming irrelevant. The tech industry has long had a problem with gender bias and ageism, and as a 40+ woman myself, I totally relate to that feeling of becoming invisible. That — and the concerning data showing an emerging gender gap in AI usage — shows we need to act now.
So how do we keep ourselves up to date when the whole world is changing at such a rapid rate?
My best answer is by coming together with other folk in the same situation, to learn from each other and navigate this path together. Communities of practice are the ideal vehicle to make this happen — hence setting up the AI Study Group.
We had our first meet up on Wednesday, where we talked about our current level of experience with AI and what we wanted out of the group. Afterwards, I created a Discord channel for us to keep talking, and organise future meet ups. This is aimed at women in Product specifically (but we won’t turn anybody else away if you want to join us).
Our next meeting is Wednesday 16 July at 4pm BST, and you are invited! Hope to see you there.
2. Want immediate clarity with a Product career problem? You need a Career Strategy session (£250 for 60 minutes)
I’ve created this in response to client demand, and it’s been snapped up twice already this week by two super keen Product people!
This is a deep dive 60 minutes session where we go into a specific career challenge:
Not sure how to stand out in a crowded jobs market?
Wondering if your CV or LinkedIn profile is holding you back?
Torn between multiple job offers and afraid of choosing wrong?
Dreading interviews because you don’t know how to show your true strengths?
Craving honest feedback from someone who’s sat on the other side of the hiring table?
It’s focused, expert support to get you unstuck and confident in taking your next step.
Before the session you send me anything you want reviewed — your current CV, your Linkedin profile, a set of job offers you’ve received. I will go through these so in our time together we can get right to the heart of what you need to change to achieve success. And because I really care about your success, you also get follow up, e.g. final human review on your CV or Linkedin, or a 90 days plan to help you transition out of your old job and into your new one.
You can read more and book directly into my calendar (no need for a discovery call!) to get unstuck today!
3. Go deeper with 1:1 Product Leadership Coaching (£1500 for 6 month engagement)
If you’re ready for a bigger transformation — not just a quick fix — my 1:1 Product Leadership Coaching is where we do the deep work.
This is for you if you’re:
Stepping up from IC and into your first Head of Product or Director role, and want to hit the ground running
Feeling stuck, overlooked, or doubting your leadership impact
Craving more influence with your peers or executive stakeholders
Thinking about your next move but unsure how to position yourself for it
Ready to lead in your own authentic way, without burning out
My clients come to me because they’re brilliant at Product, but know that leading is a whole new game. Together, we work on the practical and psychological tools to help you own your leadership and thrive at the next level.
We’ll shape our work to exactly what you need — whether that’s building strategic thinking, navigating politics, developing your leadership presence, or shifting your mindset.
If you’d like to explore what’s possible, you’ll find all the details (and client stories) here.
I’d love to help you get ready to shine this Autumn ☀️
